Hello, World!!

My name is Chikita. Pleased to make your acquaintance.

I have a penchant towards anything related to Disney and ancient history.

And yes, it’s true; I am a HUGE admirer of Ellen Degeneres, Dr. Sunitha Krishnan, Michelle Obama, Judge Judy, and Dr. Phil. On an average day, you will hear me quote these phenomenal human beings at least three times. True story!

I have been blogging since 2012. On my blog, you will find articles that range from human rights issues such as discrimination of Pakistani Hindus in Pakistan to posts on personal development like Building Self-Confidence.

Messages to Mumbai is not just a blog, but it is an extension of who I am and all that I represent. I want my blog to be a place where individuals are able to learn limitlessly and be inspired and motivated to pursue their goals and dreams.

My career as a motivational speaker was launched in 2013 when I was selected to share ‘My Story: For the Bullied and Beautiful’ for Soka Gakkai International New Zealand (SGINZ). From then onwards, I have been invited to speak at primary and secondary schools, universities and organizations for various events to talk about issues such as bullying, discrimination, gender inequality and more.

In 2013, I was also presented with the opportunity by International Artists for Peace (ICAP) to work alongside a group of talented and dedicated artists on an anti-bullying and anti-racism program called iChoose. We traveled around 10 schools within Auckland to inspire students to resolve conflict peacefully.
